Established in 1998, Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing is run by the Education Society for Health Activities (ESHA) and led by the respected Mr. Charanjit Singh Walia. We're proud to be a top institution in our region. Our nursing students are known for their skills, earning a strong reputation both in India and overseas.

What makes our college unique? Besides teaching modern nursing practices, we also teach about humanity and spirituality, inspired by the teachings of Bhai Ghaniya ji. This special approach helps our students become not just excellent nurses, but truly caring individuals.

Our success in GNM Nursing is clear. For example, our 8th batch of G.N.M students in September 2008 had amazing results: out of 47 students, 16 got distinctions, and all the others achieved first division. We've had nearly 100% success rates, showing our commitment to student achievement. We also offer Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) diploma courses, where 37 out of 39 students in one batch earned distinctions!

Building on this strong foundation, we expanded our offerings. We started the Post Basic BSc Nursing program in 2008-2009, and from the 2009-2010 academic year, we also received approval to offer the full 4-year BSc Nursing (Basic) degree. Multispecialist Government Hospital, Mata Kaushyalia Government Hospital, and Rajindra Medical College Hospital in Patiala. Hospital Sector 16 Chandigarh, Govt Hospital Phase VI Mohali, Civil Hospital Ropar & Kurali. We also partner with leading private hospitals like Cosmos, Indus, Shivalik, Grecian, and Chaitanya Hospital. For specialized mental health care, students train at Govt. Mental Hospital Amritsar. Plus, our students gain important Community Health Training in both rural and urban areas.
