The duration of the evening rental is limited to a maximum of 3 hours. After that, the fee for 1/2 day is due.

Pick-up / Return:

The boat pick-up on Lake Zurich usually takes place from Wollishofen Harbour. The boats are always handed over with a full tank.

The return takes place at the same location. The boat must be returned with a full tank of fuel and cleared of personal belongings.

By agreement, another port can be determined as the pick-up/return location in exchange for assumption of costs.

Pick-up/return to other lakes: by arrangement.

CHF 70.00 will be charged per hour or part thereof.

Payment: The rent is to be paid in advance in cash. For a longer rental period or a rental for another lake, a credit card or deposit payment may be required to secure the reservation.

First-time renter: For first-time rentals or when changing to another boat category,

a briefing and instruction trip (CHF 70.00) can be booked on request.

The renter will be informed about the rules of navigation, the respective local regulations and about the safety precautions and equipment.

Prices do not include fuel. This can be obtained by credit card or cash.

Recognition of foreign identity cards:

Anyone staying temporarily in Switzerland may drive a Swiss vessel of the category for which they can present one of the following documents:

a. A national driver's license;

b. An international certificate issued on the basis of Resolution No. 40 of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.

It is valid for the following countries:

Austria (national and international skipper's licences)

Italy (national skipper's licences)

France (national skipper's licences)

Germany (national and international skipper's licences)

It should be noted that any restrictions (e.g. restriction of engine power, restriction of the type and size of the ship, restriction of sail area, obligation to wear visual aids, etc.) in the national or international ID card also apply in Switzerland.

In addition, the minimum age required in Switzerland must be reached. This can lead to non-recognition in individual cases, especially in the case of licences for motorboats, as various countries allow motorboats to be driven from the age of 16.
