Tour Overview

4 Days Uganda midrange tour is a fantastic tour that will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park to see wildlife in the open savanna grasslands and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you will have a one in the million lifetime experience of meeting the giant Gorillas in their natural habitat. The 4-day tour in Uganda is a safari for travelers who have limited time but want to see wildlife in Uganda and also combine it with gorillas through a gorilla trekking experience.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On the first day, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel, brief you about the trip, and then set off to southwestern Uganda where the beauty of safari lies. You will have a stopover at the Equator to have the Equator experience, take pictures while standing in both hemispheres of the world, and then embark on the journey with a second stopover in Mbarara for lunch and then embark on the journey as you admire the homesteads of the locals. Arrive in the park in the evening, connect to your accommodation, check in to the room, enjoy your dinner, and relax.

Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi

Arise in the early morning, get your breakfast, and head to the jungle to catch the animals when they are still very active. You will be welcomed by herds of elephants, buffaloes, lion prides antelopes, and hippopotamuses will be swimming in the ponds, birds will be all over since the park is a haven of birds, you will return to the lodge for lunch and later bid a farewell to Queen Elizabeth and head to Bwindi a home to half the worldโ€™s remaining mountain gorillas. You will arrive in the evening, check in to your lodge, have dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural tour

Arise in the morning for a mouthwatering breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. The ranger guide will allocate you a gorilla family to track which you will spend an hour with as you learn the behaviors of the gorillas, taking pictures and recording every bit of the moment. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening you will visit the Batwa tribe who are the shortest people in the world they have been in the forest since ancient times, they therefore have a big story to tell you. You will enjoy their jazz, they have craft shops where you can buy some souvenirs if you want. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Check-out and departure

On this day, you will wake up with a delicious breakfast, meet your driver guide check out of the lodge, and head back to Kampala. Lunch will be served in Mbarara, and then embark on your journey, arriving in the evening and this will mark the end of your safari.
