This summer, I finally ticked off a destination that had long been on my bucket list—Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station nestled in the Aravalli Range. Unlike the stereotypical image of Rajasthan as a hot desert state, Mount Abu flips the narrative. Situated at about 1,220 meters above sea level, it’s an oasis of green with cool weather, forested slopes, and historical wonders.

My vlog kicks off with the early morning arrival at this charming hill town. As I rode through winding mountain roads on my bike, I could already feel the temperature dip and nature taking over. First stop? The heart of Mount Abu – Nakki Lake.

1. Nakki Lake – A Mirror in the Hills

This serene, man-made lake is the soul of Mount Abu. Surrounded by lush hills and colonial-era bungalows, Nakki Lake is perfect for boating, long walks, and soaking in the calm.
