Nazar ki dua - get solution for all problems

The concept of Nazar ki dua (evil eye) is widely recognized in Islamic tradition. It refers to the harmful effects of someone’s envy or admiration, which can negatively impact a person’s health, success, or well-being. Islam provides several supplications (duas) for protection from the evil eye.

Quranic Duas for Protection from Nazar

Surah Al-Falaq (113) and Surah An-Nas (114)

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) recommended reciting these two Surahs for protection from all kinds of harm, including the evil eye.

Translation of Surah Al-Falaq (113:1-5):

Say: "I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn, From the evil of what He has created, And from the evil of darkness when it settles, And from the evil of those who blow on knots, And from the evil of an envier when he envies."

Surah Al-Nas (114:1-6)

This Surah seeks refuge in Allah from all forms of harm caused by evil whisperings.

Ayat-ul-Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255)

Reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi provides strong protection from all types of harm, including the evil eye.

Translation:

"Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence... His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

Hadith-Based Duas for Protection from Nazar

Prophetic Dua for Protection

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek Allah’s protection for his grandsons, Hasan and Husain, with the following words:

أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ

Transliteration: U‘eedhukumaa bi kalimaatillaahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah, wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah.

Translation: I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye. (Sunan Abu Dawood 4737)

Dua When You Admire Something to Prevent Nazar

The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that if one sees something they admire, they should say:

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيهِ (Allahumma barik fihi)

Translation: O Allah, bless it.

This prevents any unintended harm due to envy.

Other Protective Measures in Islam

Recite Morning & Evening Azkar: Regularly reciting the daily morning and evening adhkar (supplications) helps in protection against evil.

Using Ruqyah (Islamic Healing): If affected by the evil eye, performing Ruqyah (recitation of Quranic verses and supplications) can help in recovery.

Giving Charity: Acts of charity (sadaqah) help remove harm and bring blessings.
