We know you will have a jam-packed schedule of early morning asanas, midday lectures and calm evening meditations; so what you wear is going to be key when it comes to your comfort and feeling totally confident all day.
Bali is tropical and you will be working out a lot, so you want clothes that are breathable but also not disrespectful of the local culture. From packing for your trip to shopping once you arrive, this guide will have you in the best clothes that fit every part of your training journey.
Let me tell you what to expect before we even get into the clothing suggestions.
Weather: It's hot, northeast Bali is consistently warm and wet, with daytime temperatures between 26°C and 30°C (78°F–86°F). Lightweight, sweat-wicking fabrics are essential.
Culture: Even though Bali has a relaxed vibe, it is important to dress culturally respectful while exploring the cultural side of Bali or when visiting local markets and temples.
While in your YTT, you will be practicing yoga for multiple hours a day. Your top considerations should center around comfort, flexibility and breathability.
Opt for high-waisted leggings or lightweight yoga pants with good stretch and that allow you the full range of motion.
Additionally, stay away from too heavy fabrics and go for some moisture-wicking materials instead — so you won't overheat before the actual game even starts.
A bubble in effect bra is required for powerful practices such as Vinyasa or Ashtanga

Tip: Relaxed-fitting clothing also includes some oversized T-shirts and flowy tops that can be nice to have for yin or meditation classes.
