SEOSorted: Building a More Connected Way to Manage SEO

SEOSorted is an AI SEO and SEO automation platform designed to help founders, marketers, agencies and growing businesses manage the complete organic content workflow from one place. It brings together keyword research, competitor analysis, content planning, AI-assisted writing, on-page optimization, internal linking, publishing and performance tracking.

Inspiration

The idea for SEOSorted came from seeing how fragmented SEO had become. Publishing one optimized article often required several tools and many manual steps. Teams researched keywords in one platform, studied competitors in another, prepared briefs in spreadsheets, wrote drafts in documents, created images separately, added internal links manually and then copied everything into a content management system.

Even after publishing, performance data often remained disconnected from the next content plan. Teams could see rankings, impressions and clicks, but these insights did not automatically influence what they created next.

We wanted to build a practical system that connects these stages. The goal was not simply to generate more content. It was to reduce the manual work between finding a relevant opportunity and publishing a useful, optimized article.

What SEOSorted Does

SEOSorted starts by analysing a website, its market, existing content and relevant competitors. It uses live search data and competitor research to identify keyword opportunities, content gaps and useful topic clusters.

Once the content plan is ready, the platform helps generate search-focused articles aligned with the brand’s voice. Articles can include meta titles, meta descriptions, structured data, images and contextual internal links. Users can review, edit, approve or reject the content before publishing.

SEOSorted supports direct publishing to WordPress, Webflow and Shopify. Other compatible content management systems can receive articles through webhooks. This helps reduce repetitive tasks such as copying text, rebuilding headings, uploading images and entering metadata.

The platform also connects with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4. Performance information can be used to understand which articles are gaining visibility, which topics are working and what should be improved or created next.

How It Was Built

SEOSorted was designed around the complete SEO workflow rather than a collection of unrelated features. Each stage was planned to support the next one.

Website analysis informs keyword research. Keyword research becomes an organized content plan. The content plan guides article creation. Articles are prepared with optimization elements and internal links. Approved content is published directly to the connected website. Performance data then returns to the planning process.

This connected approach creates a continuous cycle of research, publishing, tracking and improvement. It also reduces the number of handoffs required between tools and team members.

Human review remains an important part of the platform. AI can accelerate research and production, but businesses still need control over factual accuracy, brand tone, product details and editorial quality. SEOSorted allows teams to decide whether they want to review every article or use a more automated publishing schedule.

Challenges We Ran Into

One of the main challenges was ensuring that automation produced useful content rather than generic AI-generated copy. A well-written draft is not enough if it does not match search intent, support the business or provide meaningful information to the reader.

Another challenge was connecting different parts of the workflow reliably. Research, brand voice, images, metadata, schema, internal links, publishing and analytics all have different requirements. Making them work as one clear process required continuous testing and refinement.

Internal linking also needed careful attention. Automatically adding links without understanding context can create an unnatural experience. The system therefore focuses on relevant relationships between topics and pages rather than inserting links only because keywords match.

CMS publishing presented another challenge because every platform handles content, images, metadata and structured fields differently. The workflow had to reduce publishing work while preserving formatting and giving users control over whether an article should be saved as a draft, reviewed or published.

Accomplishments We Are Proud Of

We are proud that SEOSorted has grown beyond an AI content generator. It now addresses the operational work that usually surrounds SEO content creation.

A user can move from website analysis and keyword discovery to an optimized article without rebuilding the process across several tools. The platform can prepare key publishing elements, place relevant internal links, send content to the CMS and track its performance after publication.

We are also proud that the platform supports different levels of control. A founder with limited time can automate more of the workflow, while a marketing team or agency can retain review and approval stages.

What We Learned

The biggest lesson was that content generation is only one part of SEO automation. The more difficult problem is connecting research, planning, optimization, internal linking, publishing and measurement.

We also learned that automation should remove repetitive work without removing human judgment. The strongest workflow combines machine speed with business knowledge, editorial review and subject expertise.

Another important lesson was that SEO planning should not end when an article goes live. Performance data should guide future decisions. What gains visibility can reveal useful patterns, while underperforming content can show where the strategy, intent or execution needs to change.

Who SEOSorted Is For

SEOSorted is built for SaaS founders who need organic traffic but do not have a full content team. It also supports B2B marketers who want a more consistent production system and agencies that manage SEO content for multiple clients.

Growing businesses can use the platform to reduce repetitive tasks and maintain a reliable publishing schedule. Marketing teams can use it to connect content production with performance insights. Agencies can use it to manage the production layer while focusing more of their time on strategy, client relationships and quality.

What Is Next for SEOSorted

The next stage is focused on making the platform more useful for teams and agencies. Planned improvements include stronger collaboration, role-based access, multi-workspace management and clearer client reporting.

We also want to expand how SEOSorted supports visibility across AI-driven discovery platforms. Search behaviour is changing as people use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and AI-enhanced search experiences to research products and make decisions. Brands now need to understand both traditional search visibility and how they appear in generated answers.

Additional work will focus on stronger performance feedback, better content recommendations and authority-building opportunities. The long-term goal is to make SEOSorted a complete organic growth system that helps teams research, create, publish, measure and improve content through one connected workflow.
