Pokémon GO PokeStop Showcase Schedule for June 2025

Written by Ali Usama  »  Updated on: May 31st, 2025

Welcome, trainers! June 2025 will be a fun-filled month for PokeStop Showcases in Pokémon GO. These competitions offer a fresh way to show off your Pokémon and get some valuable rewards while you're at it. Unlike intense Gym battles or strategic Raids, Showcases focus more on your Pokémon’s physical traits such as size and weight, which brings an entirely different flavor to the game.

Here's everything you need to know about the PokeStop Showcase events happening in June 2025, from dates and featured Pokémon to how to participate and win.

All PokeStop Showcase Dates and Pokémon for June 2025

The PokeStop Showcase events are closely linked to ongoing in-game events, and for June, the only confirmed Showcase (so far) aligns with Community Day.

Here’s the confirmed schedule:

  • June 21st (Saturday)
  • Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM local time
  • Featured Pokémon: Jangmo-o (Community Day)

This single confirmed showcase might sound sparse, but more are expected to roll out weekly as part of the Delightful Days season. Keep checking in-game and on official updates to catch new Showcase events as they’re announced.

How to Find PokeStop Showcases

On your map, PokeStops that are hosting a Showcase will have a small blue disc above them. Once you enter a Pokémon into a Showcase at that Stop, that disc will change color to purple indicating your entry.

After joining, don’t forget to check back on the leaderboard to see how your Pokémon stacks up against the competition.

How to Enter a Showcase

Getting involved in a Showcase is easy — no Elite Raids or Remote Passes required. Here are two main ways to enter:

1. Manual Entry via Nearby PokeStop

  • Walk within range of a PokeStop with an active Showcase.
  • Tap the Stop.
  • Select the “Showcase” option.
  • Choose a Pokémon that meets the Showcase criteria (usually based on species and size/weight).

2. Catch-and-Enter Method

  • Be within range of a Showcase-enabled PokeStop.
  • Catch a qualifying Pokémon on the spot.
  • At the catch summary screen, tap “Enter Nearby PokeStop Showcase.”
Note: A single Pokémon can only be entered into one Showcase at a time. But entering them doesn’t restrict them from battling in Raids, PvP, or Gyms.

All Rewards for Pokémon GO Showcases

One of the best incentives for entering a Showcase aside from bragging rights is the great rewards. Even if you don’t make it to the podium, everyone who enters gets something when the event wraps up.

Participation Rewards:

  • Stardust
  • XP

Top 3 Placement Rewards Can Include:**

  • Hyper Potions
  • Ultra Balls & Great Balls
  • Fast & Charged TMs
  • Golden Razz Berries & Silver Pinap Berries
  • Limited-Use & Super Incubators
  • Lucky Eggs
  • Star Pieces

Lure Modules, including:

  • Rainy Lure
  • Glacial Lure
  • Magnetic Lure
  • Mossy Lure

Since Lure Modules and Super Incubators are premium items, participating in as many Showcases as possible can save you a ton of PokéCoins in the long run.

How to Win a Showcase

Although Showcases aren’t combat-based, there’s still an algorithmic science behind who comes out on top.

Winning Metric: Pokémon Size (Height + Weight)

Here’s the simple breakdown of the scoring formula:

  1. Scale the height and multiply it by 800, then divide by the Pokémon’s max height.
  2. Do the same for weight, but with 150 instead of 800.
  3. Add the Pokémon’s IV total, multiplied by 50, then divide that result by 45.
  4. If your Pokémon is XXL, it gets a bonus of +178 points.

The exact math though seems a calculus exam, but what matters is this: bigger is better especially if you can find a Pokémon that is both XXL and has strong IVs.

Use tools like this Pokémon GO evolution calculator to evaluate potential top-performing Pokémon for these events. It’s valuable not only for battle stats, but for pre-selecting Pokémon to spotlight in Showcases based on their growth trajectory.

That’s all for now about the PokeStop Showcase schedule for June 2025. With June’s schedule anchored by Jangmo-o’s Community Day, we’re expecting more events to arrive as the Delightful Days season progresses.
