The Russia-Ukraine War Is Entering Another Dangerous Phase

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues to intensify, with a deadly Russian strike near Kyiv and reports of Ukraine preparing to dramatically increase its long-range drone attacks against Russian targets.

The latest developments demonstrate once again how quickly modern warfare can escalate and how difficult it has become to predict where a major international conflict may ultimately lead.

A Russian attack near Kyiv reportedly caused a massive explosion at a warehouse, killing dozens of people and injuring many others. At the same time, Ukraine is reportedly preparing to significantly increase the number of long-range drone strikes it conducts against targets inside Russia.

What began as a devastating regional war has increasingly become a confrontation with consequences extending far beyond the immediate battlefield.

And the world continues to watch.

A Deadly Strike Near Kyiv

One of the latest developments came from the Kyiv region, where a Russian strike reportedly hit a warehouse and resulted in a devastating explosion.

According to reports, at least 37 people were killed, with dozens more injured.

The human cost of the war continues to grow.

Behind every number is a human being—a father, mother, son, daughter, husband, wife or friend.

The continuing violence demonstrates the terrible consequences of war and reminds us how quickly ordinary people can become victims of decisions made far beyond their control.

At the same time, further Russian attacks were reported across Ukraine.

Another major development concerns Ukraine's long-range drone campaign.

Reports indicate that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has ordered a dramatic increase in the country's long-range drone strikes against Russia, potentially taking the number from approximately 300 attacks per day to as many as 1,000 daily strikes.

If implemented on that scale, this would represent a major intensification of Ukraine's ability to conduct attacks deep inside Russian territory.

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

The world has experienced wars throughout human history.

But the Bible points toward a future in which global instability, conflict and judgment will reach an unprecedented level.

The current Russia-Ukraine war should therefore not be dismissed as merely another distant geopolitical event.

It reminds us that the world remains deeply unstable.

Nations can move from diplomacy to confrontation remarkably quickly.

Military technology can transform warfare within years.

And events occurring in one part of the world can rapidly affect the entire international system.

The World Is Moving Toward the Prophetic Future

The Bible describes a coming period of unparalleled trouble known as the seven-year Tribulation.

Daniel 9:27 speaks of the final prophetic week, while the book of Revelation describes a terrifying sequence of judgments affecting nations, economies, populations and the entire earth.

The Lord Jesus Christ described this coming period in extraordinary terms:

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."

— Matthew 24:21 (KJV)

The Russia-Ukraine war is another reminder of the kind of unstable and increasingly interconnected world in which the prophetic events described in Scripture can unfold.

Wars can escalate.

Nations can turn against one another.

Economic systems can be disrupted.

Technology can transform the battlefield.

And events can move with astonishing speed.

The Tribulation Will Be Far Worse

Whatever humanity is experiencing today, the Bible says the coming Tribulation will be vastly worse.

Revelation describes war, famine, death, persecution and divine judgment on an unprecedented scale.

The world has witnessed terrible wars throughout history.

But Scripture warns of something far beyond ordinary human conflict.

This is why Bible prophecy should not merely satisfy our curiosity about the future.

It should cause us to examine our own spiritual condition.

The Big Question is:-

Are you ready to meet the Lord Jesus Christ?

The Rapture Comes Before the Tribulation

According to the pre-Tribulation understanding of Bible prophecy, the Church will be caught away to be with the Lord Jesus Christ before the seven-year Tribulation begins.

The apostle Paul wrote:

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout... and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air."

— 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV)

This is the blessed hope of every genuine believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Church is not waiting for the Antichrist.

The Church is waiting for the Lord Jesus Christ.

And that makes the question of salvation far more urgent at this present time.

Do Not Wait Until the Tribulation

A person can spend years studying geopolitics and still completely miss the most important question concerning eternity.

The Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners.

He died for our sins.

He was buried.

And He rose again.

Salvation is offered today through faith in Him.

The Bible says:

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

— 2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV)

We are not saved by becoming religious.

We are not saved by performing rituals.

We are not saved merely because we believe that God exists.

We need to repent and place our genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

A transformed life in Christ is evidence of a genuine relationship with Him.

The Prophetic Clock Is Moving

The Russia-Ukraine war may continue.

The number of drone attacks may increase.

Diplomatic negotiations may succeed—or fail.

Another conflict may suddenly capture the world's attention.

But behind all the uncertainty stands the certainty of God's Word.

The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again.

The prophetic future described in Scripture is not going to disappear because humanity chooses to ignore it.

And the coming Tribulation will not be avoided by pretending that the warning does not exist.

That is why today is the day to take God's Word seriously.

The most important question is not whether the Russia-Ukraine war will escalate tomorrow.

It is this:

If the Lord Jesus Christ came for His Church today, would you be ready?

Do not wait for the seven-year Tribulation.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ today.

Receive God's gift of salvation.
