What is Visual Basic

Visual Basic (VB) is a programming language developed by Microsoft for its operating system Windows. It was developed by Microsoft company in 1992. Visual Basic is derived from the BASIC (BASIC) language, the BASIC language is said to be easier to read than other languages. It supports Rapid Application Development (RAD) of Graphical User Interface (GUI). The final version was last released in 1998. Microsoft support ended in March 2008, after which Microsoft launched Visual Basic.NET ('VB.NET').
