How to Disable Unwanted Widgets in WordPress

To view the widgets, click on Appearance >> Widgets. Here all your widgets will be visible. However, some of these widgets are not useful, and you will probably never use them on your website. Disabling widgets is as easy as adding them.

First of all install and activate the Widget Disable plugin on your WordPress site. After activating the plugin, click on Appearance >> Disable Widgets. Here two tabs will appear. You just have to select the sidebar widgets that you want to disable.

Check the box next to the widgets you don't want to use and click the Save Changes button.

You can go to Appearance >> Widgets to see the changes. Selected widgets will no longer appear on your Widgets screen.
