What is mouse wheel

The wheel in the mouse is used to scroll your document page in an up and down direction. Many icons have at least one wheel that is used to send scrolling data to the computer.

For example, if your current window is a browser window, the scroll wheel will help you scroll that window up and down. The scroll wheel also serves as the third button on many icons. In some cases, pressing the scroll button will turn scroll mode on or off. This mode allows you to scroll by moving the mouse throughout, instead of rotating the wheel.
