1: Using W3 Total Cache

If you are using W3 Total Cache plugin on your site, then you can easily remove query strings. First click on Performance >> Browser Cache and check "Remove Query Strings from Static Resources". After that click on Save setting & Purge Cache. Doing this will remove the Query strings from your site.

2: Using the Autoptimize Plugin

Autoptimize is a speed optimization plugin. Its main goal is to compress the website's CSS and Javascript files and improve the performance of the website. Apart from this, you can also remove query strings from your site.

First click on Settings >> Autoptimize >> Extra option. Then check the option "Removing query strings (or more specificaly the ver parameter) will not improve load time, but might improve performance scores".

3: Using the Hummingbird Plugin

The Hummingbird plugin makes your website faster by file compression, minification and browser caching. It scans your site and optimizes performance in one-click.

After installing the plugin, click on Hummingbird >> Advanced Tools and then check Remove query strings from my assets option.
