Bootstrap is a kind of framework made from HTML, CSS and Javascript which is used to create responsive and mobile friendly website.

Bootstrap was created by Twitter company employees Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton along with one of their teams.

Initially they named it Twitter Blueprint because they wanted to use it as an internal tool for Twitter but later they released it on August 19, 2011 as an open source project on GitHub under the name Bootstrap. Other people can also take advantage of it by using it.

Soon it became very popular and today developers all over the world use it to design responsive website.

Although there are many such frameworks, but Bootstrap is the most popular and most used framework among them.
