1. Create Sitemap Using Yoast SEO Plugin

Yoast is a very popular WordPress SEO plugin that provides many types of features (content analysis, meta keywords and description, XML sitemaps, social features, rich snippets etc.).

If you are already using Yoast plugin on your blog, then you can easily create XML Sitemap with its help.

First, General >> Features >> XML Sitemaps >> ? Click on

This will redirect you to the XML Sitemap page. Copy the URL from your browser's address bar. This will be your Sitemap and will look like this: yourwebsiteurl.com/sitemap_index.xml

An XML sitemap is a file that lists all of the pages on a website, along with information about when they were last updated and how important they are. This file can be submitted to search engines to help them more effectively crawl and index the website's pages.

Here are the basic steps to create an XML sitemap for a WordPress website:

Install and activate a plugin that generates XML sitemaps. There are several plugins available for this purpose, such as Yoast SEO, Google XML Sitemaps, or All in One SEO Pack.

Configure the plugin settings to match your desired settings. This may include options for which pages and posts to include in the sitemap, the frequency at which the sitemap should be updated, and the priority of each page.

Once you have configured the plugin settings, it will automatically generate the XML sitemap for your website. You can find the sitemap by visiting the plugin's settings page or by adding /sitemap.xml to the end of your website's URL (example: http://yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml).

Submit the sitemap to the search engines by visiting Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. The process of submitting the sitemap is different for each search engine, but it typically involves adding your website to the search engine's webmaster tools and then submitting the sitemap.

It's important to note that some themes have this feature built-in and don't require a plugin, so you should check the theme documentation before installing a plugin. Also, if you are using a plugin, you may need to configure the plugin settings to match your desired behavior, and to make sure the plugin is compatible with your version of WordPress and your theme.
