What is bus topology

In a bus topology, devices share a common backbone cable to send and receive data. A Thick C0-axial cable is used to connect all the devices. Bus topology uses Daisy Chain Scheme to add more devices to a network. In the daisy chain scheme, device 1 is connected to device 2, device 2 is connected to device 3, device 3 is connected to device 4 and device 4 is connected to device 5. The first and last devices are connected to the terminator (50-ohm resistor).
