Crosslinking is a process of linking two resources to each other. The resources can be:
- a page to another page on the same site and vice versa
- a page to another page on different site and vice versa
so, if there are two sites, A and B. So, if we link B with A, and we link A with B, both pointing to each other, this creates a cross-link.
Crosslinking is a good practice to rank content by linking each other or linking high traffic content with low traffic content.
Thanks

Crosslinking is the practice of linking to related pages within a website from different pages within the same website. This is done to help users navigate the website, to signal the importance of certain pages to search engines, and to distribute page authority and link equity.

Crosslinking can be done in different ways, such as:

Navigation links: These are the links that are typically found in the main navigation menu or the footer of a website. They are used to help users navigate the website by linking to the main sections or categories of the website.
Content links: These are links that are included within the body of the content on a webpage. They are used to link to related pages or articles on the website, providing additional information and resources to the users.
Contextual links: These are links that are included within the body of the content in a way that is contextually relevant to the topic being discussed.
Image links: These are links that are associated with images, when clicked on the image redirects to the linked page.
