The full form of CRT is "Cathode Ray Tube", and this type of computer monitor has been used since 1950. CRT computer monitors use electron beams to display different areas of the computer screen.
These beams of electrons help illuminate the screen images several times per second, while rapidly moving back and forth. They are not very expensive, and display white and black images. But these are more reliable.
