Reddit is a website where users can see links or text posts of others, these posts can be pictures, videos, news anything. It is a social platform where users submit posts that other users like on the basis of 'likes' or 'downvotes'. If a post gets a lot of votes it moves up the reddit ranking so more people can see it. If it gets downvoted it quickly collapses and disappears from the view of most people.

Many individuals, or groups of individuals, can post information related to any topic on Reddit, whether it is related to technology or related to entertainment. This website describes itself as the "front page of the Internet".
