It is part of RAM itself. The full name of SRAM is Static Random Access Memory. As the word "Static" suggests. Data and instructions are always stable in this RAM. Because of this, there is no need to refresh it frequently. Whereas DRAM memory needs to be refreshed frequently. When it gets power supply, this computer stores the data in bits and returns it. For this reason, the speed of this RAM is more than the speed of DRAM. Because it does not require an electronic power supply to refresh it.

It is a cache memory because all the cache memory is stored in it. It is a volatile memory, due to which the data is stored in it only as long as the power remains on, all its data is deleted as soon as the power is off.
