Fax works like a telephone system. You can send or receive documents to any person through fax. Fax was invented in 1846 by Scottish inventor Alexander Bain. A fax consists of a scanned copy of a text or image printed on both sides of a paper.
Faxes are sent from one place to another via a telephone line. In this, the telephone number is connected to the output fax device. To send a fax, you must know the other person's fax number.
