Basically there are subheadings from 1 to 6, and the post title is heading level 1. So in content any heading start at level 2, which is H2. The later headings be H3, H4.

Why do we add this headings ?

Because it helps search engines like google to show rich snippet text using table of content and may help a user answer a query by matching keyword with your heading.
Headings also allow google to index your post in parts based on headings, so related and best matching part to be shown as a summary.

H2 is used to tell all the details of the main title of the article. So when you use H2 Tags, you should keep the following things in mind-

1. H2 Tag is used to display the sub-headings of the title, so in this you write the sub-headings of your title.
2. Whatever are the search keywords of the blog or article, they are included in the H2 tag.
3. Apart from this, you can show H2 as a sub-heading of H1 and H3 as a sub-heading of H2.

The H2 tag (HTML Heading 2) is an HTML tag used to define a secondary heading on a web page. In terms of SEO, the H2 tag is important because it helps to structure the content on a page, making it easier for search engines to understand the topic and purpose of the page.

Using H2 tags appropriately can also improve the readability of your content for users, making it easier for them to scan the page and find the information they're looking for.

It is recommended to use H2 tags for subheadings within your main content, and to use H1 tags for the main title of the page. Using a clear and descriptive hierarchy of headings (H1, H2, H3, etc.) can also positively impact your search engine rankings.
