What is hard disk partition

Partitioning a hard disk means dividing the hard disk into different drives, such as the D and E drives.


By partitioning the hard disk, we get the advantage that we can store our data in different drives, if ever there is a problem with our operating system and we have to reinstall the operating system, then our data remains safe because We have not stored our data in C drive but in any other drive.
