Why we need an OS

A computer without an operating system is like an empty box. It acts as an interface between the user and the computer hardware, if your computer system does not have an operating system installed, then your keyboard, monitor, mouse ( The connection between Mouse), CPU, etc. will never be established. The operating system itself establishes the connection between all the hardware components, through this the user does his work without stress because it organizes all the resources of the computer system. All the tasks are done by it like:- Memory Management, Multi Processing, Multi Programming, File Management, Multi Tasking, Multi Threading (Multi) Threading), Input/Output Management etc.
