How to Disable Trackback and Pingback from WordPress Site

First of all click on Settings >> Discussion. Then uncheck the box for "Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) on new articles".

However, this setting only disables WordPress pingback and trackbacks on new articles that you publish. But your old posts will still have Trackback and Pingback enabled
