How to export wordpress website?

After logging into your WordPress site, click on Tools >> Export.

After this, you have to select the All Content option. It will export all your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, tags, navigation menus, and custom posts.


Now click on Download Export File option. This will start downloading the .xml file to your computer. It will not export your plugins or theme files.

If you want to upload this export file to a new WordPress site, log in to your new website. After that, click on Tools >> Import. Then, install WordPress importer.


After installing WordPress importer click on Run Importer and select your exported file then click on Upload file and import.
