What is computer RAM

Actually it is one of the most important parts of the computer. It is used to store data, but being a temporary memory, this data is stored only as long as the power is on. Its data is automatically deleted as soon as you power off. As we all know, that there are two types of memory in a computer.

Primary and Secondary. RAM is the primary memory, whereas hard disk is a secondary memory. RAM is located near the processor installed in the computer mother board, so that it can open all the ways for the data to reach the computer processor as soon as possible.



The full name of RAM is Random Access Memory, the work we do on the computer. At that time data / data and instructions are stored by the CPU in the RAM itself. Being the main part of the CPU, the data stored in it can be accessed directly.

RAM is a part of the computer memory system, made up of a semiconductor. There is a direct connection between CPU and RAM and RAM is much faster than other memory. So that the data reaches the CPU in the right time. There are different sizes of RAM such as 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 3 GB, 4 GB etc.
