Typhoid disease is caused by drinking contaminated water. If there is a river or any such source of water where there is a lot of dirt, then salmonella bacteria spread in the water which causes typhoid.

If we eat food that has been kept for a long time, then salmonella bacteria also spread in the body.

If there is a common cold-cough or fever and it is not taken care of properly, even then this bacteria starts growing in the body.
