Admin page is the one where the owner of the blog (and the team who has the admin access/edit access) can login to the backend of the website and make required changes, approve posts/comments/content, modify the website etc.

It can be accessed only through a specific admin user ID and password

Adding up to the above comment, WP admin is the backbone of a Wordpress site. Anything can be added and removed as per the themes. Also the number of features you can use depends on the Plan you have bought. The access of the site is allowed as per the role you play for the site. Not every role needs a password.

The WordPress admin page, also known as the WordPress dashboard, is the control center for managing a WordPress website. It is the backend area where users with administrative privileges can access various tools and features to manage and update their website.

The WordPress admin page can be accessed by adding /wp-admin to the end of a website's URL. For example, if your website's URL is "https://www.example.com", the admin page can be accessed at "https://www.example.com/wp-admin".

Once logged in, users are presented with a dashboard that provides an overview of the website's activity, including recent comments, posts, and plugin updates. From there, users can navigate to different sections of the admin page to perform tasks such as creating and editing posts and pages, managing media, controlling appearance and layout of the website, handling user accounts and permissions, and configuring settings and options.

The WordPress admin page is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, but it can be overwhelming for new users as it has a lot of options, features and settings. However, it's a powerful tool that allows website owners to control and manage their website efficiently.
