How to Open External Links in New Tab in WordPress

Gutenberg is a new content editor for WordPress that has a built-in feature to open external links in a new tab. However the option remains hidden.

First of all go to your post or page in which you want to open the links in new tab. Next, select the text and add your link.

After adding the link, you need to click on the down arrow icon and then click on the “Open in New Tab” toggle box.

Congratulations! Now your link will open in new tab. You can check it by visiting their website.
